The spurGearPair module is an interactive tool designed to assist in the analysis and design of spur gear systems. Users can input various parameters, such as module, gear ratio, pressure angle, and operational data like power and speed, to compute critical gear dimensions and force analysis.

Key functionalities include:

  1. Dimension Analysis: Calculates parameters like pitch, pitch diameters, addendum, dedendum, and number of teeth for driver and driven gears.
  2. Force Analysis (Pro): Computes torque, speed, and reaction forces for both gears based on the input operational conditions. You can use these forces for inputs in other modules such as shaftDesigner. Please note that the forces are reaction forces from the paired gear; the values of Fx and Fy are the same with the reaction forces for shaft inputs.
  3. Stress Analysis (Pro): Computes bending stress to make sure the gear design meet your safety criteria.
  4. Visualization: Provides graphical representations of gear layouts, including side and top views, for better understanding.
  5. Save and Load: Enables users to save input designs to a JSON file and reload them later for further analysis or modification.

This module is a valuable resource for mechanical engineers and designers, simplifying the design process and ensuring accuracy in spur gear calculations.
